    • Data collection when using the App
      • Scope of data processing
When using our App we only process personal data, when you either watch a video in the game or when you enter the highscore list.

The videos that are displayed in our App are stored on a rented server. Every time a video or the highscore list is viewed the following data is stored in the server protocol:

        • Information about the app and version used
        • The operating system of the user
        • The IP address of the user
        • Date and time of access
        • The files accessed

The data is stored in the log files of our system. A storage of this data together with other personal data of the user does not take place.

Furthermore, if you agree to enter into the online highscore list, we store the unique device ID, a user name, the highscore and the rank in the highscore list on the same server.

We employ the services of a software developer based in Germany for maintaining the servers.

      • Legal basis
The legal basis for processing the server protocols is Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR.
The legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR therefore lies in the functionality of our servers and our app and its availability. The processing by our hosting provider and our software developer based in the Germany is based on Art. 28. Para. 6 GDPR.

The legal basis for processing the highscore list data is Art. 6 para 1 (a) GDPR.

      • Purpose of data processing
The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to allow delivery of the videos and highscore list to the device of the user. To do this, the user's IP address must be kept for the duration of the session.
The protocol data is stored in order to ensure the functionality of the server and the app. In addition, the data is used to optimize the server and the app and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.
The highscore list allows users to measure their performance against other players.
      • Duration of storage
The logfiles will be deleted after seven days at the latest, unless there is a need to keep the data for the aforementioned purpose due to specific events.
Storage beyond that is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or alienated, so that an assignment to a specific user is no longer possible.

The data in the highscore list is stored until the consent is withdrawn.

      • Objection and removal possibility
The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. There is consequently no possibility of objection by the user.

Regarding the entry into the highscore list you can remove yourself by sending a request for removal to info@btm-musikverlag.de.
